In collaboration with the Warriors, MegaBlack SF is hosting a voter registration drive. We hope you will consider helping out in Fillmore, Bayview or both! We are looking for volunteers to help with set up, outreach to get people to register and help distributing food and other materials, breakdown.

Heads up: Everyone registered in SF will automatically receive a mail-in ballot.

There are 588 polling places in SF, and polls are open between 7:00am to 8:00pm on November 3. You can vote in person and drop off your ballot at your nearby polling place.

Sign up to be a Poll Worker! You will get trained, PPE, and a stipend. High schoolers and young adults are very welcome.
The SF Human Rights Commission and Shanti Project are launching a new initiative called “Deliver the Vote” to help pick-up authorized ballots from our vulnerable communities (those who are in SROs, homebound, immunocompromised, in quarantine, monolingual, seniors, and people with disabilities, or just generally need assistance) in vulnerable neighborhoods. This is non-partisan, independent service. If your community organization would like to help us with this, please register to attend our Service Provider Info Meeting next week!

Did You Know?: According to Count My Ballot, San Francisco has one of the highest ballot rejection rates in the state. More than 9,100 voters saw their ballots go uncounted in March 2020 either because they weren’t postmarked by the March 3 election day or didn’t arrive in the mail by the March 6 deadline. Statewide, late ballots accounted for more than 70% of rejected mail-in votes. Get your ballot in on time! All ballots must be postmarked by November 3rd, but we recommend mailing by October 26th to be extra safe!
