Dear MegaBlack Family,
We’re thrilled to share that we had a fantastic in-person meeting focused on the future of MegaBlack’s subcommittees for the upcoming year. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to our meaningful discussions about shaping our community's priorities!
Meeting Highlights:
Subcommittee Planning: We decided to narrow our focus to 3-5 key subcommittees for 2025 to concentrate our efforts on impactful and direct goals.
Purpose and Goals: Each subcommittee will set specific goals, hold space during meetings, create reports to inform both MegaBlack and the broader community, and contribute directly to our annual Black Budget proposal.
Opportunities for Action: Subcommittees can present at general body meetings, invite speakers, and actively engage with the community to drive meaningful progress within their focus areas.
